Darina Karaivanova-Saase holds a Master’s degree in English, American and Hispanic Studies from the University of Potsdam (topic of Master’s thesis: “India – The Impact of its Colonial Past upon its Future Role: Indian Culture between Worlds.”). Fluent in English, German and Spanish, as well as a native speaker of Bulgarian, she covers a broad scope of responsibilities ranging from scheduling, business correspondence, travel management and meeting organization, to research, proofreading, data analysis and database management. She brings along working experience gained from several international companies such as Media Consulta and AUDI. Being a quick learner and a reliable colleague, Darina Karaivanova-Saase is also a helpful and friendly person who appreciates teamwork as an efficient way of communication and goal achievement. Darina Karaivanova-Saase joined the IASS in January 2017 and works as project assistant for the following projects: Energy Transition, Digitalisation and Sustainability, Systemic Risks, CO2 Plus, Best Paths, Green-Win and Dolfins.
