Jessica Böhme

Research Associate

Jessica Böhme joined the IASS as a research fellow in August 2016 and as a research associate in the project AMA (A Mindset for the Anthropocene) in Mai 2018. She finished studying mechanical engineering, sustainability management, and journalism. Her research focuses on how technologies - digital and beyond - may provoke a mindset shift towards sustainability. Jessica is keen on questioning and rethinking dominant narratives that form our current mindset and worldview, guided by the question of how we ought to live, as individuals and as humanity. She currently writes her Ph.D. about the intersection of narratives, mindsets, and sustainability.

Before joining the IASS, Jessica worked as a fraud investigator, as a researcher and lecturer in the field of IT-supported sustainability, was self-employed and co-created a magazine.
