Research Associate

Mr Bhupendra Das has completed his first Master's in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and obtained a second Master's degree in Environmental Technology from Teesside University, UK. He is pursuing PhD in 'Emission Inventory for Nepal', which is at the final stage of completion. Mr Das has both national and international experiences in the field of environment, air pollution, renewable energy and climate change. He was appointed as an Environmental Projects Researcher at Middlesbrough Environment City, Middlesbrough, UK; where he made remarkable contributions in community development projects. Furthermore, his contributions are also in various research works that were undertaken from Nepal Energy and Environment Development Services (NEEDS), International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD); NAMI (University of Northampton, UK), Integrated Development Society (IDS) Nepal; The University of Teesside, UK; The University of Tokyo; Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University, Nepal; Pokhara University, Nepal; Nepal Health Research Council; Former Solid Waste Management and Resources Mobilization Centre, Ministry of Local Development; Clean Environmental Nepal, and few other Non Government Organizations of Nepal. Moreover, he has more than 5 years of teaching experiences. Mr Das also participated in regular national and international meetings, seminars, workshops, trainings programmes and paper presentations. Besides, he is very familiar in air pollution and energy modeling tools, managing and manipulating spread sheet data, graphs and tables, proposal and report writing.
