Aneta Galek initially studied business administration at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg with a focus on law. She graduated in 2006 with a diploma in economics from the University of Münster with a focus on corporate cooperation and international management. Following this, she organised international cultural projects at Dr. Gabriele Minz GmbH in Berlin. In 2007, she joined BITKOM, Germany’s Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media, where she worked on sustainable ICT technologies. She joined the IASS in 2011, initially as an academic officer under the secretary general and subsequently as an academic officer for projects managed by the institute’s directors. She is currently working as an academic officer under the administrative director.
