Better Climate Governance Matters

As countries begin to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic and climate change continues to exacerbate, COP26 in Glasgow in 2021 seeks to move towards increased 2050 ambition, conclude negotiations of the Paris Rulebook and shine a spotlight on the importance of non-national actors. Global South : Where and what is it?

The term Global South refers to different parts of the world from a rather cartesian perspective and is being used at an accelerated pace. After 20 years of on-and-off negotiations, the European Union and Mercosur states reached a political agreement for a trade deal. At this event, experts will explain the recent developments and challenges ahead for both regions.
