Rebecca Kutzner studied geosciences at the University of Potsdam, Germany (2012) and went on to gain a dual master’s in Global Change: Ecosystem Science and Policy from University College Dublin, Ireland and Justus Liebig University Gießen, Germany (2013). During her studies she gained practical experience at the Environmental Protection Agency in Ireland, where she worked on the management of wetlands, emissions, and stakeholder engagement in the Climate Change department. Rebecca came to the IASS in 2014 and has been gaining more experience in science-policy cooperation on the topic of air pollution, while working with public authorities at various political levels within the ClimPol project. Since 2017 she has also been part of the Kopernikus project E-Navi, where she works on the assessment and revision of the policy packages created within the project.
