Linda Auert studied business administration at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht in Berlin with a focus on tourism. Following this, she worked for more than three years as a hotel manager in Potsdam. She joined the IASS in March 2017, as personal assistant to the Head of Administration Clemens Appel until 09.17, as personal assistant to the Administrative Director Jakob Meyer from 10.17-06.22 and as personal assistant to the interim Head of Administration Herbert Küster from 07.22-12.22. In addition, Linda held the position of Equal Opportunity Officer from 01.20-12.22. From 01 January 2023 she takes over the position of the personnel controller at the GFZ.
