Research Interests

  • Pia-Johanna Schweizer’s research interests include governance of systemic risks, governance of energy systems and energy transitions as well as climate change governance, theories of deliberative democracy, stakeholder involvement and public participation. She has published various peer-reviewed articles on risk governance and public engagement. Also, she has edited peer-reviewed special issues in international journals on risk governance, risk communication and technology.
