David Dietrich joined the Research Institute for Sustainability - Helmholtz Centre Potsdam (RIFS) in May 2016. He is a network specialist and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). As well as being responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of the institute, he advises staff members on IT matters. Before joining RIFS, David worked nearly six years for an IT consultancy and service provider in Berlin, where he provided IT support to the following customers:

• AOK Bundesverband
• Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices
